Short version: Samepage is an organizing tool for adults (18+) who share care. It is not medical, veterinary, legal or professional advice and not a medical device. Your information stays on your device, so you are responsible for backups. Reminders can fail, so never rely on Samepage alone for medication or care. In an emergency, call 911.

1. Who we are and agreeing to these terms

Samepage is made by Zero Legion ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Samepage website, web app and Android app (together, "Samepage"). By using Samepage you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Samepage.

2. Adults only (18+)

You must be 18 or older to use Samepage. When you start the app you confirm that you are 18+ and accept these Terms. Samepage is for adults who share care – co-parents, family members and caregivers looking after a loved one, and pet parents and sitters. An adult may enter information about a child, another adult in their care or a pet, but children may not use Samepage themselves.

3. Not medical, veterinary, legal or professional advice

SAMEPAGE IS NOT MEDICAL, VETERINARY, LEGAL OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. IT IS FOR INFORMATION AND ORGANIZATION ONLY. Always follow the advice of a qualified doctor, pharmacist, veterinarian, lawyer or other professional. Never ignore professional advice or delay getting it because of something you read or entered in Samepage.

In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number). For a possible poisoning, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 (U.S.). For pets, contact your veterinarian, an emergency animal hospital, or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435 (a consultation fee may apply).

Not a medical device. Samepage does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any disease or condition, in people or animals.
No medical information. Samepage is a family organizer: you type your own notes and set your own reminders. Samepage does not provide medical or veterinary information. A “Look it up” button only opens an outside website (MedlinePlus or Animal Drugs @ FDA) in your browser. We don't control those websites; what they show may be incomplete, out of date or not right for your situation. For animals, ask your veterinarian.
Reminders and notifications can fail or be late. They depend on your device, its settings, battery saving, the browser and the operating system. Never rely on Samepage alone for medication timing, doses or any other care.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for all care, medical, financial and parenting decisions.
Records and exports are not guaranteed to be accepted in court. Message logs, check-ins, expense records and printable or PDF exports are a convenience. Whether a court accepts them depends on your court and its rules. Talk to an attorney about your case.
AI features. If Samepage adds features that use artificial intelligence or automatic reading of text (for example suggestions or summaries), their output can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it. Today, reading an appointment email or text happens on your device with simple rules, and you confirm the details before anything is saved.

4. Your content and backups

What you enter ("your content") belongs to you. Samepage stores it on your device; we don't keep a copy on our servers. That means we can't recover it if your device is lost, reset or its browser data is cleared. You are responsible for making backups (Settings > Data & privacy > Export all data). Only enter information you have the right to record and share with the people you use Samepage with.

5. Premium, subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Samepage has free features and an optional paid Premium plan. What's included is described in the app.
On the website, payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for. For a refund request, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll review it fairly; we may also refund where the law requires.
In the Android app from Google Play, any purchase is handled by Google Play and follows Google Play's terms and refund policies. Manage or cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
We may change prices or features for future billing periods and will tell you before a change affects a subscription you already have. Taxes may apply.
License codes are for your own use and may not be sold or shared publicly.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Samepage to break the law, harass, threaten or stalk anyone, record people where that isn't allowed, store content you don't have the right to use, or try to break, copy, reverse-engineer, overload or get around the security or licensing of Samepage. Be respectful in shared messages.

7. Provided "AS IS" – no warranties

SAMEPAGE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise that Samepage will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that reminders will arrive, or that information in it is complete or correct. Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ZERO LEGION WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INJURY, ILLNESS OR HARM TO A PERSON OR ANIMAL ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON SAMEPAGE, A MISSED OR LATE REMINDER, OR INFORMATION FROM THIRD-PARTY SOURCES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO SAMEPAGE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR SAMEPAGE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH IS $0 IF YOU USE ONLY THE FREE FEATURES). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Indemnification

If you misuse Samepage, break these Terms or violate someone else's rights, and that leads to a claim against Zero Legion, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim (including reasonable attorney's fees), to the extent the law allows.

10. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first so we can try to solve the problem informally. Arbitration is not required: you may bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction, and either of us may use small claims court for claims that qualify. If you live outside the U.S., you keep any mandatory consumer rights of your country.

11. Termination

You can stop using Samepage anytime and delete your data (Settings > Data & privacy > Delete all my data, or uninstall the app). We may suspend or end access to Samepage or a license if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we stop offering Samepage; if we stop offering a paid plan you've prepaid, we'll refund the unused part. Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 continue after termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for important changes the app will ask you to accept the new version. If you keep using Samepage after a change, the new Terms apply.

13. Severability and the whole agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and that part is changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Zero Legion about Samepage. If we don't enforce a part right away, we don't give up the right to enforce it later.
